Kathleen was my mother. She married her high school sweetheart Walter Sweitzer on January 13, 1942. She worked as a secretary for many years until her daughters came along. She went back to work when they were all in school. She was a secretary for the South Bend School Corporation, working at Riley & Washington High Schools. She ended her career as the secretary for the Superintendent. Kathleen loved her daughters & her 9 grandchildren very much. She enjoyed going to plays, playing bridge with some of her Riley classmates, & traveling. Mom is missed by her daughters & grandchildren & by the 21 great-grandchildren that she didn't get to meet |
