South Bend, IN — Ann Zivkovich, 79, residing at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle, Ind., formerly of Farneman Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away a 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Ma 28, in the nursing home. Mrs. Zivkovich was born on Nov. 8, 1923, in South Bend, to the late George and Kona (Todorovich) Phillipoff. She has remained a life-long area resident. On Feb. 10, 1952, in Crown Point, Ind., she married John A. Zivkovich, who preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2002. One brother, James Phillipoff, and two sisters, Add Maksimovich and Doroth Rastovic, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Zivkovich was a member of the St. Peter and St. Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. She retired In 1990 as a sales associate with Brite-Way, South Bend.

Mrs. Zivkovich is survived by two daughters, Natalie (Craig) Fowle of Aurora, Ind., and Constance (Steve) Geraghty of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son, George A. Zivkovich of South Bend; five grandchildren, Darcy Fowler, Corbin Fowler, Timothy Geraghty, Matthe Geraghty, and Stephanie Geraghty; and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rose Geraghty.  

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 31, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Mile Subotic will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. Friends visited with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 30, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, where a Parastos service was held at 7 p.m. Contributions in memory of Ann Zivkovich may be made to the St. Peter and St. Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 59250 Keria Trail, South Bend, IN 46614.
