SOUTH BEND - Betty Blosser, 88, of South Bend, passed away peacefully at home Fri., March 30, 2018. Betty was born Dec. 2, 1929 in South Bend to the late David and Helen Yanko. On Oct. 25, 1952, a then Betty Yanko wed Mr. David L. Blosser. She and David celebrated nearly 62 years of marriage until his passing on March 7, 2014. Betty was a 30-year-retiree of 1st Source Bank. She & her husband looked forward to their many annual trips to Sarasota, FL. Betty enjoyed feeding her feathered friends that graced her home each day. She also admired her favorite flowers, geraniums and dusty millers, each spring. Betty was also a fan of not only bird watching, but watching reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and Lawrence Welk. Betty is survived by her son, Terry (Pam) Blosser of Union, MI; daughters, Karen (Chuck) Werckenthien of Noblesville, IN and Cheryl Fisher of South Bend; sister, Anne Cappert of Mishawaka; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband & parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, David; and sisters, Helen, Mary, & Irene. Friends may call 1:30 - 2 pm, April 4 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., with service at 2 pm.
