Martha Jayne Lennox Goble

OSCEOLA - Martha Jayne Lennox, age 84, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Hospice House, South Bend. She was born on November 1, 1933 in Alton, Illinois, to Orvil M. and Lucille (Miller) Goble. On July 27, 1957 in South Bend, Indiana, she was united in marriage to John “Jack” Lennox, who survives.

Along with her loving husband, Jack, she is survived by her daughter, Alison K. Lennox of Osceola; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and her sister, Marcella Ramirez, preceded in death.

Martha graduated from Riley High School, Class of 1951 and then earned her degree as a registered nurse. She retired as an O.B. nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Martha was a member of First Christian Church, South Bend. She was an avid reader and a volunteer in a reading program sponsored by Ameritech.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Garry Fisher will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
