SOUTH BEND - Patricia Anne Poor, 80, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, at The Village of Laurel Run where she had been a guest for several months. Born March 1, 1933, in South Bend, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Blanche M. Gaby Poor. Raised in South Bend, she loved the outdoors and enjoyed having her own horse and taking piano lessons.
She was a 1951 graduate of the James Whitcomb Riley High School in South Bend.
She married Andrew G. Bella the same year, and had three children from this union. Patt had been employed as a Sales Associate with Belle Jewelers and later retired from Littman Jewelers in February of 2009. She was a member of the Chambersburg Grace Brethren Church where she played the piano and organ for worship services. She taught the Released Time Bible Program to children for 14 years. Patt loved the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Manges, and husband, David L. of Fayetteville; her son, Joseph A. Bella, and wife, Lisa of Granger, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Joshua Manges, Emily Shew, Joel Manges, Drew Manges, Sarahanne Manges, Zoey Manges and Joseph Bella; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Charles Bella in 2011, and by her brother, Charles L. Poor.
The date and time for a memorial service to be held at Chambersburg Grace Brethren Church, 315 South Edwards Avenue, will be announced later. Memorial contributions may be made to Joy-El Ministries, 3741 Joy-El Drive, Greencastle, PA 17225, and noted to be utilized for the Released Time Bible Program.
