Ryan P. VanZant

MISHAWAKA - Ryan P. VanZant, age 35, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan. Ryan was born on May 9, 1982 in South Bend, Indiana to Michael and Cathy (Snyder) VanZant.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Mike and Cathy VanZant of Mishawaka; his brother, Matthew M. (Lauren) VanZant and their daughter, Audrey of South Bend; and his sister, Lyndsay B. VanZant and her children, Sydney, Nina, Zoey, and Skylar of South Bend.

Ryan loved his family. He was very generous and “would give the shirt off his back.” Ryan and his brother Matt grew up like twins, sharing great fun and lasting memories. Ryan played baseball at SouthSide Little League and continued playing through the Senior Division. He attended Riley High School. Ryan loved having a good time, but always wanted his friends to have a better time.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 pm until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
