Dr Lewis G. Domonkos, DDS

Dr Lewis G. Domonkos, DDS 61. of 2316 Erskine, died at 10:15 p.m Saturday in Healthwin Hospital after an extended illness. Dr. Domonkos had practiced dentistry in South Bend for 37 years. Born Feb 23. 1914 in South Bend, he had DR Domonkos lived here his lifetime. On Nov 28, 1935 in South Bend. he married Gotella Foldeta. who survives Also surviving are two sons. Lewis L of Estes Park. Calif . and Lawrence L of Sterling, Va , a daughter. Mrs Linda Kuczwara of Louisville, Ky.. four grand children and two brothers. Dr Anthony N Domonkos of New York City and Albert J of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a m, Wednesday in St Matthew Cathedral. Bishop Joseph H Crowley, P.D., rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Sa-cred Heart Cemetery_ Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p m Tuesday In the Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish rosary Hill be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be conducted at p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by members of the Calvert Rod and Gun Club, of which Domonkos was a member. 

A graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry Dr. Domonkos was a member of the Indiana Dental Association, the North Central Dental Association and the American Dental Association He was World War II Army veteran and a member of Post r2. American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
