Louise (Heath) Clark Nix

Louise "Beezey" Clark Nix, 72, of 202 Apple Road, Osceola, died at 10:55 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. She retired as a nurse's aide from St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, in 1975, and was former owner-operator of George's Golden Pheasant. Born Nov. 7, 1912, in DeKalb, Ill., she lived in the Mishawaka-Osceola area most of her life.

As Louise Heath, in May 1946, she married George Clark, who died in 1969. In September 1972, she married Jerome "Bing" Nix. He died in March 1978. Surviving are a daughter, Murrene "Rene" Graham of Osceola; a stepdaughter, Fran Frank of New Era, Mich.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a half brother, William Heath of Chicago; and her stepmother, Ella Heath of Chicago.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Mon-day in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Wakarusa. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home where a wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Nix was a member of the church, American Legion-.Post 308 Auxiliary and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 598. She served as a Girl Scout troop leader for 29 years.
