Beatrice (Maurice) Nifong

MIDDLEBURY — Mrs. Beatrice Nifong, 70, of 431 S. Main, died early today in Goshen Hospital where she had been a patient for four days. She was born on Dec. 11, 1912, in South Bend. She moved to Middlebury eight years ago Elkhart, where she lived most of her life.

On Aug. 17, 1956, in Elkhart, she married Ralph Nifong. He survives with a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Scott of Elkhart; a granddaughter and two sisters, Mrs. Sue King of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ann Witte of Three Rivers.

A daughter, Gail, died in 1977.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Grace Baptist Church, County Road 8, Bristol, of which she was a member. Rev. Donald Long, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Miller Funeral Home, Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.

She retired eight years ago from the Selmer Band Co.
