Gustave J. Eichorst

SOUTH BEND — Gustave J. Eichorst, 74, of 124 E. Bowman St., died at 4:01 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Eichorst was a press operator at Raco Inc. He was born June 17, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.

On Nov. 30, 1946, in South Bend, he married Engelia C. VanDerBeek. She survives with a daughter, Jean Pajski of South Bend; a son, Daniel John of South Bend; a grandchild; a sister, Ruth Chapman of South Bend; and a brother, Herbert R. of South Bend.

Mr. Eichorst was a member of New Apostolic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War 11.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
