Gertrude L (Reith) Tolle

SOUTH BEND — Gertrude L. Tolle, 71, of York Road, died at 11:35 p.m. Monday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Tolle retired as a real estate broker for Bower Homes. She was born Feb. 23, 1120, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident On May 30, 1942, in South Bend, as Gertrude Reith, she marred Harry Tolle. He survives with three daughters, Heidi Klink of South Bend, Kathleen Cramer of Nashville, Term., and Gwen Shafer of Vista, Calif.; two sons, Harry Jr. of Vista and Ron of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Pythian Sisters, Rebekah Sisters, and Moose Ladies Auxiliary. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
