Rose M. (Womble) Noell

SOUTH BEND - Rose Mary (Womble) Noell, 89, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Easter morning in Mason's Healthcare Center, Warsaw. Rose Mary had a very long but brave struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Rose Mary was the daughter of the late Claude Womble and Bessie Hill (Womble) Clark. She was born May 3, 1919, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her family soon relocated to the South Bend area. She later married the late Al Noell.

Rose Mary was a 1938 graduate of Riley High School and attended Bethel College.

Rose Mary is survived by her three (3) children: a daughter, Linda (Arnold) Norman of Warsaw, her son, Reverend Ray (Donna) Noell of Medina, New York, and daughter, Dyan (Joel) Zimmerman of Leesburg, Florida. Rose Mary is also survived by her six (6) grandchildren, Eric (Danielle), Smoroske, IN, Angela (Brian) Jones, Texas, Heather (Jamie) Pawlicki, New York, Julie (Jason) Lehr, New York, Pastor Andrew (Kristy) Cisneros, Indiana, and PFC Jason (Julie-IN) Rhodes, Iraq. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.

Rose Mary attended Mayflower Baptist Church, South Bend, for many years with her children. She became a member of Timberland Bible Church, South Bend, in 1982. Rose Mary was a kind, generous, compassionate and fun-loving lady. Her favorite activities included spending time with her family, studying the Bible and "garage-saleing." She will be greatly missed and remembered always in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 

Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, where friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. Rose Mary's son, Reverend Noell, and grandson, Pastor Cisneros, will officiate. Burial will take place in Tyner. Memorials may be made in her name to Alzheimer's Services of Northern Indiana, Inc., 922 East Colfax Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617.
