MISHAWAKA — Alice L. Shultz, 71, of Fountainview Nursing Home, died there at 8:10 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Shultz retired in 1990 as executive secretary for Logan Center after 21 years. She was born April 25, 1922. 

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra J. Worm of Mishawaka and Cheri E. Tirrell of Osceola; three sons, William B. Beach of Elkhart, David H. Beach of Mishawaka,,and Scott B. Shultz of Mishawaka; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandson; two sisters, Marie Smyth of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Carol Hammon of Indianapolis; and a brother, Walter Rhodes of South Bend. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Graveside services were Saturday in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Os ceola. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. May 9 at Miami Trails Kingdom Hall, South Bend. Memorial contribu. Lions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements.
