Kenneth E. Buel, 99, residing in South Bend, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Kenneth was born November 3, 1922 in DeRidder, Louisiana to Henry Buel and Leah (Davis) Buel, who both preceded him in death.

He was a member of The Gideons International participating in bible distribution and jail ministry.

On August 30, 1945 in South Bend, he was united in marriage to Velma (Jolly) Buel, who preceded him in death on October 4, 2006.

Kenneth is survived by his nephew, Keith (Karen) Miller of Maine; his friends, Donna Gibson and Gloria Heminger, both of South Bend.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Miller and his brother, Robert Buel.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, 5318 Larkspur Dr, South Bend, IN 46614.
