Donald E. Eslinger

Donald E. Eslinger, 95, of Bradenton died at home on Friday, June 17, 2011. Born June 2, 1916 in South Bend, Indiana Don moved his family to Bradenton in 1960. Don was a self-employed commercial developer and entrepreneur and long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton.

He is preceded in death by his wife June, of 71 years, parents Elmer and Hattie; brothers Robert and Kenneth; and sisters Arlene and Jeanette.

Don is survived by his sons Jim and wife Dorothy; Bob and wife Denice of Bradenton; daughter Jackie of Orange Park; grandchildren, Jeff, Jenny, Jim and Julie of Sarasota, David of Cleveland, Dan of Las Vegas, Robin and Ryan of West Palm Beach; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A family service and inurnment will be scheduled later. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton. Funeral arrangements under the care of Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
