Peter Jay Klimishin

Peter Jay Klimishin, 81, South Bend, Ind, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Healthwin Hospital, South Bend, after a short illness. He was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Jan. 2, 1916, to Samuel and Mary Pauline (Kruchuk) Klimishin, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Klimishin is survived by his wife, Dolly Lee Hinkson; three daughters, Karen S. Fudge of Indianapolis, Ind., Patricia K. Dixson of Knoxville, Tenn., and Marianne McCloughan of Granger, Ind; four granchildren, Andrew Lewis Dixson, James Scott Dixson of Knoxville, Tenn, Peter Jay McLoughan, and Katherine McCloughan of Granger, Ind; two sisters and a brother, Mary M. Swain of South Bend, Pauline Deslauries of Indianapolis, Ind., and Walter Klimishin of South Bend. A grandson, Jonathan Patrick Dixson, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Klimishin retired from Bendix Corp. in June, 1970, after 20 years of service in the fuel control division as a labatory technician. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving in World War II.
He was also a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church.
