Hunt, as well as her devoted children and their families: Linda (Fred) Kien, John (Debbie) Palmer, Jackie (Brian) Cook and Karen (Brian) Berk, all of northern Indiana. Her surviving grandchildren are Katherine (Richard) Penrod and Joseph Elder, John Pendergrass, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth and Peter Cook, and Bradley Berk; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. One brother, Ronald (Patsy) Olsen of Wilson, MI, survives along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her only sister, Ollene Swanson, in 2003.

Anita attended Riley High School and retired from the Honeywell (Bendix) Corporation in 2000, after 46 years of diligent service. She joined into membership of the Evangelical Covenant Church of South Bend in 1958, and was an active participant of Bible Study Fellowship since 2000.

Anita will best be remembered as one who loved her family, cherishing the memories of her time spent with them. A world traveler, she enjoyed visiting Europe, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Disney World. She liked to attend Christian retreats, was an accomplished knitter, and could always be counted on to provide favorite dishes at the family gatherings that were so important to her. Anita touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
