Michael Duane Hamilton, who resided on South Illinois Street, South Bend, Indiana passed away on September 16, 2021. Michael was born December 6, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana to Robert and Queen Hamilton Sr. He attended the South Bend public schools and graduated from Riley High School in 1976. Michael dearly loved his family, his church, cars, and dancing. He especially enjoyed dressing and smelling good.
He is survived by three daughters: Shanda Hamilton and Ayriel Hamilton, both of South Bend, Indiana, and Lanette (Nathaniel) Sanders of Madison, Wisconsin; grandchildren: DaiJohn, Dangelo, NaQuan, Bryiel, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Jamia, Serenity, DaKuah, and Remy; a great-grandchild, MiAnna; siblings: Linda Johnson-Thomas, Pamela Dozier and Sondia Hamilton, all of South Bend, Indiana, Jan (Melvin) Jenkins of Columbus, Georgia and Kizzie (K.C.) of Gilbert, Arizona; a special friend, Denise Conigan (BL) of South Bend, Indiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle Hamilton, and one brother, Robert Hamilton.
