Isabelle Belle Maez (Keiser) - Class Of 1962 VIEW PROFILE

Isabelle Belle Maez (Keiser)

Isabelle “Belle” (Maez) Keiser

August 26, 1944 ~ August 2, 2022 (age 77)

On August 2, 2022, at 3:27 pm, our Lord Jesus called the beautiful soul of Isabelle Maez Keiser to come home and reunite with her beloved mother, Reyes Maez; her father, Freddy Maez; and her 2 brothers, Danny Maez and Tony Maez who preceded her from this earthly life to the paradise that is Heaven.

Mom was born in Denver, CO and moved to Mishawaka, IN with her family.

Isabelle, affectionately known as Belle, had to leave to treasure her memory and love her husband of nearly 50 years, Ronald (Skip) Kaiser; her older brother, David (Jackie) Maez; her daughter, Lisa (George) Culp; her son, Charles (Maria) Rothy; her 7 grandchildren, Justin (Lisa) Polaski, Alex Polaski, Alaina (Sam) Enari, Abbey Polaski, Breanna Rothy, Jarred Moen, Brandon Moen; and her great grandchildren, Evie Polaski, Kingston Rothy, Roman Beasley, and arriving soon, London Isabelle Beasley.

Our mother was a tenacious, strong, everlasting, generous and gracious woman.  She loved her wild birds that she fed daily, living it up at Notre Dame football games with her best friend and partner in crime, Anna Riblett, sparring sarcasm with her loving husband, cooking her mother’s recipe of breakfast chili that everyone loved and waiting for patiently.  Our mother lived many of her dreams by being an expert beautician, world traveler, travel agent, flight attendant for Midway Airlines and ran a restaurant with her parents.  She loved to watch the faces of her children and grandchildren light up with joy by hosting every Christmas Eve family get together.  Even though he did not have much of a choice, she had Dad decorate the house and property to create that special feeling of family love.  As any other holiday she would have, she made those time magical and very special to all.

Even though we are confident that our mother has extreme joy and comfort now being with her lost loved ones and surrounded by God’s everlasting light of love and peace, we mourn her passing.  We shall miss her so very much knowing that for the rest of our lives we will have an important part of our hearts missing.

Fly high and bask in God’s glory Mom, Nana, wife, and great grandma. The youngest will definitely get to know who you were and we will never let them forget you!

Cremation has taken place and Mom requested no viewing or services at this time.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned in the future.  Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka, IN has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
