Loretta (Musselman) Collmer

Loretta Collmer, 81, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in Cape Coral. She was born Jan. 11, 1932 , in South Bend, Ind., to Carroll Max and Mary Olene (nee Replogle) Musselman.
She grew up in South Bend, Ind., and graduated from Riley High School. After high school, she started a family and worked as a secretary. After moving to Florida in 1972, she worked at several banks. Later she was involved with the National and Florida School Plant Management Association.
She was happily married to Norman Collmer for over 63 years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, shopping and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Norman of Cape Coral; her children, Cathie (Dennis) Harshman of Hermitage, Tenn., Randy (Cinda) Collmer of Fort Myers and Lori Spiczka of Cape Coral; her grandchildren, Robert (Dawn) Ebel of Hermitage Tenn., Andrew Ebel of Tampa, Ryan (Nicole) Collmer of Cape Coral and Leanne (Chad) Thompson of Cape Coral; her great grandchildren, Christopher Jasilewicz, Brittney Thompson, Estella, Ava and Isla Collmer.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 5, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, with the funeral to begin at 2 p.m. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
