Marian Wiletta (Diedrich) Megyese

Oct. 16, 1914 - July 12, 1996

Marian W. Megyese , 82, of E. Calvert St., South Bend, died Friday July 12, at Cardinal-Meridian Nursing Home, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Megyese was born Oct. 16, 1914 in Grand Haven, Mich. and was a lifetime resident of the South Bend area. On Nov. 21, 1939, as Miss Marian Diedrich, she married Stephen Megyese . Mr. Megyese passed away March 3, 1989.

She is survived by one daughter, Jan Woodcox, South Bend; four sons, Robert, of Collinsville, Ill., Steve, James and Thomas all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Reith and Carolyn Jena, both of South Bend; and one brother, William Diedrich of South Bend.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 15 at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, Ind. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Megyese was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
