Weldon Firestone

FIRESTONE — Word has been received here of the death of Weldon Firestone, 58, of San Diego, formerly of South Bend, who died Saturday of an apparent heart attack while visiting Las Vegas with his wife, Dolly..

He was born on Nov. 28, 1913 in South Bend and served 20 years with the Navy. Cremation will be followed by burial at sea. Memorial services will be held at a later date in San Diego.

Surviving are his widow, Dolly; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Steinmeyer and Mrs. Reginald Harris; a son, Douglass, all of Florida; his father, Harley H. Firestone and a sister, Mary Jane Teske, both of South Bend.
