Donald W. Raabe

NILES — Services for Donald W. Raabe, 67, of 1844 Bond St., who died Tuesday in Pawating Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Pifer Smith Funeral Home. Rev. Arnold O. Schaap will officiate. Burial will be in SlIverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted by St. Joseph Valley Lodge 4 F&AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Crippled Children Fund.

He was born on July It 1914, to South Bend, and came to Niles in 1949 from South Bend. He retired In 1946 from the Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. of Mishawaka.

On Aug. V. 1234, in South Bend, he married Esther E. Burke, who survives. Other survivors include a son, William Raabe of Niles; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Valley Lodge 4 F&AM, Saladin Temple, the Niles Shriners Club and the Loyal Order of the Moose 58 of South Bend.
