Jane (Weiss) Pritchard

SOUTH BEND — Jane Weiss Pritchard, 78. of Seal Beach, Calif. formerly of South Bend died at 6 a.m. Saturday in Palm Beach Gardens Ma.) Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Pritchard was employed by the South Bend Public Library's Virginia Tutt branch for 25 years and was a former teacher.

She was born Feb. 21, 1915. in South Bend. On July 25, 1973, in South Bend. as Jane Weiss, she married Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard. He survives, with a daughter. Peggy Winters of Palm Beach Gardens: a son. Paul B. of Syracuse: four grandchildren; one great-grand-child; and a brother, Harry H. Weiss Jr of Carlisle. Pa.

She was a charter member of Faith United Methodist Church and a graduate of North Central College, Naperville. III., and Northwestern University.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Faith United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church or First United Methodist Church. 507 Pacific Ave.. Long Beach, Calif 90802.
