James E. Grose

Services for James E. Grose, 71, of 3411 Whitcomb St., who died at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct 6, 1985, in Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mr. Grose had been employed in Production Control at Bendix Corp. for 37 years before retiring. He was a member of the Greene Twp. Lions Club. He was born April 22, 1914, in St. Joseph County and was a lifelong , area resident.

On Oct. 10, 1959, in South Bend, he married Evelyn Shrader, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Judith K. Rajchel of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Janice Gail Marks of Honolulu; two stepdaughters, Shirley Ruggles and Dixie Wasoski, both of South Bend; two stepsons, Bruce Bourdon of South Bend and Craig Bourdon of Granger; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 10 step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
