Caroline M. (Hart) Schilling

SOUTH BEND — Caroline M. Schilling 77, of East Altgeld Street, died at 10:19 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Schilling was born Nov. 3, 1914, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 11, 1936, in South Bend, as Caroline M. Hart, she married Frank Schilling. He survives with two daughters, Barb Kazmierczak of Mishawaka and Kathleen Kolosowski of Berrien Springs; two grandchildren; and a sister, Claudine Eby of Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral Rosary Society.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. There will be no visitation. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or any charity.
