Annabelle E. (Maurice) Witte

Annabelle Evelyn Witte, 91, of Three Rivers, Mich., passed away Tuesday, July 8, in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, Mich. She was born Dec. 16, 1911, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Robert William and Cora May (Babcock) Maurice. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother.

She graduated from Riley High School in South Bend, and on May 5, 1945, she married Norman A. Witte in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in South Bend. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Annabelle is survived by her loving husband, Norman A. Witte of Three Rivers; daughter, Norma Jean (Charles) Hall of Niles, Mich.; grandchildren, Thomas (Heather) Hall of Niles and Timothy Hall of St. Joseph, Mich.; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 11, in the Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, with Rev. Paul Naumann officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to the Borgess Auxiliary Fund. Envelopes are available in the funeral home.
