Jeffery Stephelton Jones, 66, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2023. Jeff was born in Mishawaka, IN on June 9, 1956, to Marilyn S. (Rutherford) Jones and the late Jack H. Jones. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo Z. and Martha J. (Hutchens) Jones and Albert S. and Dora (Warriner) Rutherford. Jeff is survived by his sister, Nanette (Scott) Pollock; nephew, Nathan Mittleman; step-nephew, Henry (Hillary) Pollock; and great-niece, Gwynn E. Pollock.

Jeff attended Jackson High School and graduated from Riley High School in 1976. Following graduation, he enrolled at Vincennes University as a general studies major. Jeff worked in cleaning and maintenance at Montgomery Ward and Apollo Printing, and at one time owned JJ Lawn Care.

Jeff was a member of numerous organizations throughout his life, such as York Rite, Scottish Rite, St. Joseph Lodge #45 F & AM, Shriners, White Shrine, Sons of the American Revolution, Eastern Star 569, and Amaranth.
