Married Caroll Paulson May 1962 who survives him. Celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May of 2012. Also surviving are sons Lance (Denise), Mark (Abbie), of South Bend, and daughter Julies of Granger, along with five granddaughters, two grandsons, and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Juanita and Rosalyn and a step-father John Dewilde preceded him in death.
Larry attended Riley High School before pursuing a lifelong career in the automobile business where he was highly respected in the community. Larry also owned the former Carolls Restaurant and most recently was President of South Bend Discount Liquors. Larry's children all had the honor of working beside him in his numerous businesses. He and Caroll retired to Mesa, Arizona where they enjoyed many happy years. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his wife and day trips to the casino. Larry's life was his family; and he would sacrifice anything for his wife, children, and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
A service will be held at a later date in South Bend, IN.
