SOUTH BEND — LaVerne J. Pearson, 77, of Indialantic, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Fla.

Mrs. Pearson was born April 24, 1917, in South Bend She is survived by her husband, William E. of Indialantic; a daughter, Judith L Schafer of Adrian, Mich.; a son, David E of Vero Beach, Fla , two grandchildren, one great-grand daughter, and a brother, Eugene Kollar of Mishawaka.

Memorial services will be Friday In Florida. Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the LaVerne Pearson Memorial Fluid, in cart of CITA, P.O. Box 2105, Melbourne, FL 32902
