LAKEVILLE - Beverly J. Goebel, 82, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, IN. She was born on February 2, 1929 in South Bend, IN to Charles and Grace (Campbell) Goss. On September 3, 1949 in South Bend, IN she married Harvey E. Goebel who preceded her in death on October 20, 2000.
Mrs. Goebel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and John Laureys of New Carlisle, IN and son and daughter-in-law, David and Susan Goebel of Plymouth, IN and a brother, Ron Goss of MI. Two brothers, Bob and Richard Goss preceded her in death.
Mrs. Goebel graduated from Riley High School.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodland, IN and a member of the Red Hat Club. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN. Rev. Steve Cox will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Private burial will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Woodland. Contributions in memory of Beverly J.
