Virginia M. (White) Green

Virginia M. Green, 78, of Mishawaka, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010 at her residence, with her loving family at her bedside. Virginia was born on June 27, 1931 in Lakeville, IN to the late Lawrence and Violet (Shuppert) White.

Virginia attended South Bend Riley High School.

As the former Virginia White, she married Leslie Green in November of 1949 in South Bend, IN. Virginia and Leslie shared sixty-one wonderful years of marriage together. Virginia is survived by her husband Leslie and their five children, Suzanne Galbraith of Indianapolis, IN, Debbie (Mickey) Belle of Granger, IN, Rick (Beth) Green of South Bend, IN, John (Tammy) Green of Niles, MI and Lisa (Grant Jr.) Stacy of South Bend, IN. Virginia was a loving and caring grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and great grandmother to fourteen great grandchildren. Also surviving Virginia is a sister, Helen Marie Pass of Mishawaka, IN.

Virginia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family most of all. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an avid NASCAR racing fan. The family is honoring Virginia wishes to have a private visitation and funeral service. A special" Thank You "to Lisa,(Virginia's little angel) from her brothers and sisters for taking care of mom for the past two years.
