WYATT - Edith M. Jordan, 88, of Wyatt, passed away on December 25, 2010, at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton. She was born December 17, 1922, in South Bend, to George and Edith (Whiteman) Erhardt.

On August 3, 1940, she married Paul D. Jordan, who preceded her in death July 4, 2003.

Edith graduated from Riley High School and was a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker, a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Woodland, past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Bremen, and the VFW Ladies Aux. Post #8972 in Bremen.

She is survived by five children, Richard (Karen) Jordan of South Bend, Robert Jordan of Wyatt, Thomas (Rita) Jordan of Mishawaka, James (Luci) Jordan of Woodland and Janet (Rick) Moore of Petoskey, MI; four sisters, Jean Van Bellingham of Baron Lake, MI, Elizabeth McGowan of South Dakota, Betty Gember of Three Oaks, MI, and Carol Stevens of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Jo Anne Kline, a sister, Joan, two brothers, George and Jack, and two great-grandchildren, Jason Jordan and Dezaray Knight.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at St. John United Church of Christ in Woodland. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or to VFW Post #8972 in Bremen. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mishlerfuneralhomes.com.
