Charles W. Roberts
June 2, 1994 - July 20, 2012 SOUTH BEND - Charles William Roberts, III, 18, who resided on North Adams Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. Charles was born in South Bend, IN, on June 2, 1994, to Charles William Roberts Jr. and Karen (Grayson) Taylor.
He was a graduate of Riley High School.
His hobbies included lifting weights, surfing the internet, playing X Box 360, watching the History Channel, and spending time with his family.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his father, Charles William (his wife, Tamika) Roberts Jr. of Gary, IN; his mother, Karen (her husband, Joseph) Taylor; one brother, Keon Roberts of East Chicago, IN; three sisters, Kendall Marie Donaldson of South Bend, Tiffany J. Roberts of Dothum, Alabama, and Brittany Moore of St. Paul, Minnesota; three stepsisters, Farrah Taylor and Lisa Taylor, both of South Bend, and Brittany Taylor of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Ann Grayson; paternal grandparents, Charles & Rebecca Roberts; step-grandparents, Joseph & Viola Taylor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Jesus is the Rock Church, located at 52248 Laurel Road, South Bend, IN, with viewing occurring at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary, South Bend, IN.
