Steven Eric Gray, 34, of South Bend, passed away Sunday evening, March 13, 2005, in Mishawaka, IN. He was born September 20,
1970, in South Bend. as the son of Thayne and Judith (Mucci) Garberick, and had lived in South Bend most of his life

He was a 1989 graduate of James Whitcomb Riley High School, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Steve enjoyed traveling and living in various parts of the country.

Then on June 4, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he married Tiffiney D. Crayton. He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffiney; along with his parents, Thayne and Judy Garberick of South Bend; his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Ray Ritchey, and Linda and Matt Krathwohl, all of Granger; his maternal grandmother, Elsie Mucci of Bloomington, IL; and his paternal grandmother, Juanita Garberick of Elkhart. Also surviving are two nephews, Tyler and Noah Krathwohl of Granger; his mother-in-law, Mary Crayton; his grandmother-in-law, Charlie McAfee; his cousin and godson, Gabriel Stokes, and cousin, Khyara Jennings, all of Niles, Michigan; along with a host of family and friends.

Steve enjoyed listening to music, and was serving as man-ager of the Buyco Music Store in Mishawaka. He loved to read, and was an excellent writer. He enjoyed soccer, rugby, art and painting. Most of all, he loved his dog "Tuney" very much. Steve will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Craig Clapper, pastor of Trinity Evangelical Free Church, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Steven E.
