Rosemary Moorman Mar. 3, 1934 - Nov. 4, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Rosemary Moorman, 81, passed away peacefully in her home after 11 years of struggling with Parkinson's on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Rosemary was born on March 3, 1934 to Joseph and Rosemary (Kenna) Megyese in South Bend. She married Thomas E. Moorman on September 15, 1951 in St. Judes Catholic Church, of South Bend. She attended Riley High School where she met her husband of 64 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Thomas Moorman Jr.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas along with three children, Pamela Goddard-Dunfee (Jim) of Elkhart, Michael J. Moorman (Linda) of Mishawaka and Susan M. Collier of South Bend. Grandchildren, Stacy Goddard-Vervynckt (Jeffrey), Jeffrey Goddard (Amber), Richie Moorman, Laura Wilken (Kevin), Kristina Carter (Brandon), Schaune Johnson (Drew), Kristopher Moorman (Zorina), Josh Moorman, Dan Collier (Sommer), Sara Collier, Thomas Collier (Brianne), Casey Collier and 27 great grandchildren.

Rosemary was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She was the administrative assistant to Mayor Robert Kovach for his term. She was a member of the Mishawaka Women's Business Association, Mishawaka Lion's Club, Board of Trustees of the Mishawaka-Penn Harris Madison Public Library and The original St. Joseph Hospital of Mishawaka Women's Auxiliary and was awarded for the many hours she volunteered at the hospital. Rosemary loved flower gardening, especially her roses, cooking, collecting cookbooks and reading. Most of all she loved spending time with family. Holidays were special as well as family time on Gravel Lake.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice and Carolyn Burks, her dear caregiver and friend who was with her until her passing.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 8 from 2 to 6 p.m., with Wake prayers at 5 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 9 at 10 a.m. in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
