Jessica Joan (Cohen) Staten

April 29, 1924    ~    July 4, 2026

Joan C. Staten passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 102.

Joan was born in South Bend, Indiana on April 29, 1924. She was married to Robert Staten June 27, 1945. They first lived in NYC then South Bend Indiana before moving to Jackson, Minnesota in 1949.

Joan spent the Jackson years working at the 1st National Bank of Jackson, she was very involved in Eastern Star, loved to play bridge and attend the theater.

Joan’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren both in Jackson and at the retirement condo in Cape Coral Florida.

She is survived by her daughters Bonnie and Susan, grandchildren Carina and Craig and great granddaughters Emma, Annika and Alayna.

Joan’s final resting place will be with her husband Bob at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
