Richard Wilson Danner, 76, passed away peacefully December 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Sanctuary at St. Paul's.

Richard was born in South Bend, IN on December 20, 1941 to the late Vergil S. Sr., and Catherine (Wilson) Danner.

Left to cherish his memory are: his brother, Vergil (Virginia) Danner of South Bend; sister-in-law, Andi Danner of AZ; three nieces, Penny (Pat) Poden of Mishawaka, and Gayle (Stan) Tomkiewicz and Karen Danner, both of AZ; and four nephews, Jay (Carol) Danner of Plainsfield, IL, Joel (Denise) of FL, and Doug (April) and David (Linda) Danner, both of AZ.

Richard worked at Notre Dame as a custodian. He was kind and outgoing and made many wonderful friends. He enjoyed doing crossword and word-search puzzles. He will be dearly missed.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Sanctuary at St. Paul’s, 3602 S. Ironwood Dr., South Bend, IN 46614.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant View Church of Christ, 60550 Crooked Creek Rd. Cassopolis, MI 49031.
