Joseph W. Ramos

MISHAWAKA - Joseph W. Ramos, 78, of Tremont Drive in Mishawaka, died at 7:10 a.m., Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of South Bend, of natural causes. Joseph was born March 19, 1928, to the late Joseph R. and Florence (Sylvia) Ramos. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Jones) Ramos, who passed away on December 13, 1985.

Joe had been an area lifetime resident, graduating from Riley High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He was a tool designer for Nibco and CTS Corporation, both in Elkhart and retired from CTS Corporation.

Surviving are his children, Jenny (Art) Klinger of Granger, and David Ramos of Mishawaka, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Jake and Taylor-Leigh.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana. Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2007, with Rev. Robert VanKempen officiating. Entombment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
