James Lee Bressler

James Lee Bressler, 70, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in his home. He was born on June 25, 1940 in South Bend to the late Earl and Helen (Brown) Bressler. On November 17, 1989 in South Bend, IN he married Darlene Joyce (Shaw) Bressler who survives.
Mr. Bressler is also survived by daughter, Sheryl Ann Filer of Fishers, IN; son, Todd Alan Bressler of South Bend, IN; step daughter, Kimberly Anne Nisley of South Bend, IN; three granddaughters; and two brothers, Dr. Franklin Bressler of Columbus, OH and Charles Bressler of Hendersonville, NC. His parents and a sister, Imogene Kossakowski preceded him in death.
Mr. Bressler was a lifelong area resident. He was a meter electrician for Indiana & Michigan Electric Company. He was a lifetime member of the Studebaker Driver's Club and a former member of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 U.S. 31 S. South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is handling the arrangements.
