Alberta June Phillips

Alberta (Carson) Phillips, 83, of Granger passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 10, 2024, at Storypoint in Granger.

Alberta was born on October 31, 1940, in Terre Haute, IN to the late Robert and Eileen (Connor) Carson.  Alberta worked in the medical field as a medical assistant. 

Alberta married Carl Phillips in 1977, sharing nearly 47 years of marriage before his passing.

Alberta is survived by her daughter; Cathy Suter, son Glen Wheeler, and her 2 grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation for Alberta will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Friday July 19, 2024, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. The funeral service will begin at 1pm.  Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
