Eugene Elton “Gene” Flanigan

Flanigan, Eugene Elton, 94, of O'Fallon, MO died Monday, May 1, 2017 at Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon, MO. Eugene was born January 4, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana to the late William Elton and Lucy Carrie Flanigan (nee Greene).

Eugene met and married his late beloved wife Betty Louise Flanigan (nee Hill) on February 26, 1945 in Greenville, South Carolina.

Eugene served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Corp. Eugene worked for thirty three years as an engineer for General Motors until his retirement in 1983.

Beloved father of Jane Smith, James Flanigan, Sandra Flanigan and Thomas Flanigan. Beloved brother of Floyd Flanigan, Etta Schaefer, Elinor Cooper and Richard Flanigan. Beloved grandfather of four and beloved great grandfather of three.
