Phyllis L. (Epperson) Brubaker

MISHAWAKA - Phyllis L. Brubaker, 77, of East Lori Lane, Mishawaka, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Friday, September 12th, at Hospice House, following an illness. She was born on October 6th, 1930 in South Bend to William and Charlotte Epperson who both preceded her in death. On February 26th, 1949, she married Herbert L. Brubaker. He died July 8th, 1995.

She was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Mishawaka. She was also a graduate of Riley High School, class of 1948.

She is survived by her children, Lee Ann Czajkowski of Mishawaka and Susan Brubaker of Quinton, VA. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Veatch of Mishawaka and a brother, Harold Epperson of Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka where friends will be received from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow the services Tuesday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN.
