Jean A. (Nojun) Hart

WADSWORTH -- Jean Ann Hart of Wadsworth passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Jean was born on October 2, 1930 in South Bend, IN to the late Charles and Anna Nojun.

Jean graduated from James Whitcomb Riley High School in South Bend and attended Valparaiso University where she met her husband, Ron.

It is said that beside every good man stands an excellent lady, and this was so true for Jean. As an ardent supporter of her family, Jean took care of many details behind the scenes to see that her family and their goals were brought to fruition. As a loving wife to husband, Ron, she supported him during his endeavors at work, church, community, and home. Jean assisted Ron in working to open the new Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital in the early 1970's and continuing with the WRH Auxiliary. Jean went on to support endeavors with Ron and the Rawiga Country Club, Wadsworth All Sports Booster Club, and the Wadsworth Band Boosters. Jean was active in the Wadsworth Garden Club and WHYS United.

Jean was a faithful member of the Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church as well as the Milton Presbyterian Church. Jean's most treasured duty however was that of a loving wife to husband Ron, mother to sons, Ronald II (Kimberly) of Wadsworth and John of Greenacres, FL; Grandma to grandchildren, Ronald III of Wadsworth, Colleen (Nathan) Sidol of Wadsworth, and Katherine of Columbus.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (1981) and Anna (1974), and husband, Ron (2010).

The family would also like to extend extreme gratitude to all the staff at the Apostolic Christian Home of Rittman; especially to Kim, Karen, Cathy, and Sandy for their dedication and support to Jean during her most trying times.

The family will receive loved ones and friends at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alex Barnes officiating.
