Geraldine “Ginger” (Overholser) Bell

Geraldine Bell Aug. 17, 1930 - Jan. 28, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Geraldine Bell, 84, of South Bend, IN passed away at 6:11 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Morning View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 17, 1930 in South Bend, IN to the late Lora L. and Adah Mae (McMannama) Overholser.

She was united in marriage on January 23, 1979 in Reno, NV to William T. Bell, who preceded her in death on November 15, 2007. Mrs. Bell is survived by three sons, Michael Mantei of South Bend, IN, Kevin (Darlene) Mantei of Sanser, TX and Randy Mantei of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Andy Mantei and Jeanine Vaszari; sister, Margery Marks of South Bend, IN and brother, Buddy Overholser of FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Richard Mantei and William T. Bell; brothers, Lora Overholser and Junior Overholser, and one sister, Carole VanDersample.

Mrs. Bell was a lifelong resident. She retired from Alcoa where she worked as a secretary. A Private Memorial for the family will be scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2015.
