Eugene R. Glod, Jr

GLOD — Services for Eugene R. Glod, Jr. 21, of 3609 St. Joseph, who died Saturday, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hilltop Lutheran Church, 59360 S. Ironwood, with Rev. F. Pfotenhauer, pastor, officiating. Glod died as a result of a head wound received Saturday morning when a .22 caliber gun he was using to hunt squirrels accidentally discharged.

Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the McGann Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eugene Glod Jr. Memorial Fund in care of the Hilltop Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his widow, the former Renee Olson, a daughter, Marie Lynn and a son, Joshua. Clod was employed by Holiday Rambler, Wakarusa.

He was graduated from Riley High School in January, 1976 where he played varsity football and was involved in many other athletic activities.
