Margaret D. (Dubail) Peck

Margaret D. Peck, 75, of Charlevoix, died Feb. 10, 1990, in Lamont, Mich. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the First Congregational Church of Charlevoix. The Rev. Philip G. Schairbaum will officiate. The former Margaret D. Dubail was born Nov. 3, 1914, in South Bend, Ind. She was a retired librarian at the Lansing State Journal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Whitecraft of Lansing in 1962. In 1966, she married William C. Peck of Lansing and Charlevoix. He died in 1986.

Mrs. Peck is survived by her children, Janet R. Baumgartner of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Lee (Judy A.) Bornstein of Stokesdale, N.C., Don D. and his wife, Rosario, Roose of Germantown, Md.; her stepchildren, Mrs. Don (Barbara) Harmer of Traverse City, Robert and Nancy Peck of Cannel, Ind., Robert A. Whitecraft of San Fran-cisco; 16 grandchildren.

Mrs. Peck had been active in the Plymouth Congregational Church of Lansing and the First Congre-gational Church in Charlevoix, serving as past president of its Mary Brewster Circle and the Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Charlevoix Woman's Club. The family suggests memorials to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund in Charlevoix or the Charlevoix Area Hospital.
