Sam Cossman
Sam Cossman, 72, of 1915 E. Jefferson Blvd., died at 4:15 p.m. Fri-day in his home. He was born Aug. 7, 1914, in Lancaster, Pa. He lived in South Bend since 1929, coming from Chicago.
On Feb. 1, 1943, in Red Bank, N.J., he married Virginia Miscewicz. She survives with two sons, Nathan Barry and David Alan, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Rifkin of Chicago; and two brothers, Isadore Cossman of MishawakA and Max Cossman of South Bend.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. There will be no visitation. He was the owner of Hi-Speed Auto Wash, which he founded in 1948. He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the Sinai Synagogues. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
