Doris V. (Miller) Sweeney

Doris V. Sweeney, 82, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, South Bend, Ind., died at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mrs. Sweeney was born on March 31, 1915, in South Bend, to Beulah D. Miller and Otto J. Miller. She was a lifelong resident of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Sweeney; and by a sister, Mary Alice Bush. She is survived by two daughters, Mary C. Rienks and Judy A. Pyclik; four sons, Jim P. Sweeney, Pat J. Sweeney, Tom E. Sweeney and Bill F. Sweeney; three grandsons, Jim L. Sweeney, Pat Rienks and Shawn Sweeney; six granddaughters, Kelly Schrock, Elizabeth Sweeney, Lori Sweeney, Cynthia Pyclik, Jennifer Pyclik and Kathy Pyclik; and by her brother, Otto Miller, Jr.

Mrs. Sweeney graduated from Riley High School in 1933. In the past, she was active in ADEC and The Council For The Retarded.
