Mason A Linder - Class Of 2007 VIEW PROFILE

Mason A. Linder

Nov. 27, 1988 - April 6, 2009
SOUTH BEND - Mason Andrew Linder, 20, passed away at 9:54 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009, in his residence. Surviving are his parents: father, Stuart Linder, mother, Cheryl Jenkins, and stepfather, Mark Jenkins. Also surviving him are siblings: sister, Crystal Taberski, and husband Brian, and two brothers, Skylar Jenkins and Adrian Linder. Mason was born on November 27, 1988, to Stuart and Cheryl Linder.

Mason was a graduate of Riley High School and was a student at Solano Community College in California and Ivy Tech in South Bend. As a freshman Mason played varsity football and was captain of the football team his senior year. Mason went on to play college ball in CA. He played 12 years of baseball at South East Little League and was on the Riley High School baseball team.

Mason embraced life, opened his heart to the world and loved everyone. There was always a smile on his face and a hug for the asking. He was the guy everyone liked and wanted to be around. If 10 people were invited to his birthday party, sometimes over a hundred showed up. As our words would not describe the ache we feel within, you filled our hearts with love, and blessed our lives with all your heart and soul.

A celebration of Mason's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. The memorial service will follow at 11. Memorial contributions may be made at any Teachers Credit Union. To leave the family an online condolence or to share memories with the family, please visit our website www.zahoran.com

The Broken Chain We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; And though we can not see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. In Loving Memory of Mason Andrew Linder
